Ben
Solar & domestic electrician
Ben is the meticulous half of the team, the type to double-check a job twice and still find one more thing to tidy up. He treats every home like it's his own, and genuinely aims to leave things better than he found them.
Before going out on his own, Ben worked as a solar installer and servicer, fault-finding, diagnosing and repairing solar systems, so he's just as comfortable with panels and inverters as he is with switchboards. He also spent 6 years FIFO in the mining industry, with hands-on experience in explosives, machine operating, truck driving and occasionally team leading, work that demands precision and getting it right the first time. Those habits carried straight across into how he runs every job today.
Em
Electrician & Apprentice of the Year
Em is a fully qualified electrician and was named Apprentice of the Year. Her background is in industrial electrical work at Orora's glass bottling factory, fault-finding, diagnosing, repairing, and carrying out new installations and modifications.
She's currently studying Electrical Engineering at university and works as a project manager for SA Power Networks, alongside being on the tools with Ben & Em's Electrical. Having a qualified female electrician on the job helps create a welcoming, respectful environment, especially for single women and families who want extra peace of mind.
When we're not on the tools, we're chasing after our son, who just turned one and has recently started walking (send help). Being parents ourselves means we understand exactly how much trust it takes to let someone into your home, and we don't take that lightly.
We want women, families, and everyone in between to feel completely comfortable having us in their home, and to know they're getting honest, transparent pricing and straightforward service every time, no jargon, no surprises.
We believe we're the first Adelaide electrical company offering genuine fixed pricing and clear instant quotes right on our website. We might not be the first to have a female electrician on the tools, but we're aiming to be the clearest, fairest and most transparent business in the industry, and we're proud to be trailblazing that shift.
Supporting local matters to us too. Our logo was designed by a local artist, and we back local sports clubs and small businesses whenever we can, we'd rather see that money stay in the community than go somewhere else.
